Utility Locating Services for 181 Livingston St. in Brooklyn

AmeriscanGPR used ground penetrating radar technology to locate rebar within a structural concrete wall at a Macy’s building at 181 Livingston St. in Brooklyn. The general contractor on this project was hammer drilling multiple anchoring holes in this wall and wanted to avoid hitting rebar to ensure all holes could be drilled to required depth. Our ground penetrating radar units use electromagnetic pulse frequency to locate and map active and abandoned underground utilities. Our equipment provides exact location of objects and accurate depth measurements including unknown utilities & objects without any prior knowledge.
